Welcome to 1st Parkstone

Based in Parkstone and part of the Poole Scout District, we are one of the first Scouting groups in the world, being formed in 1908. The group currently hosts a Squirrel drey, Beaver colony, Cub pack and an Air Scout troop and is one of the most active Scout Groups in Poole; every week around 100 young people aged 4-14 from Parkstone and the surrounding area join us to experience everyday adventure and take part in our top quality Scouting programme.

The Group has grown steadily in all Sections over the last 10 years, following the efforts and hard work of all of our volunteers, including our supportive trustees and our section leaders.

Our thriving and active Scout Group has a dedicated leadership team who produce exciting and dynamic programs for young people of the area, teaching life skills as well as having plenty of fun along the way! We partake in regular meetings, camping trips and day activities.
