Welcome to 1st Parkstone
Based in Parkstone and part of Poole District, we’re proud to be one of the very first Scout Groups in the world, founded all the way back in 1908.
Today, 1st Parkstone is a thriving, full family of Scouting, with a Squirrel Drey, Beaver Colony, Cub Pack and Air Scout Troop. Each week, around 100 young people aged 4–14 years from Parkstone and the surrounding area come together to enjoy everyday adventure and be part of our exciting, high-quality programme.
Over the past decade, the Group has gone from strength to strength across all sections, thanks to the dedication and teamwork of our volunteers, trustees and Section Leads.
Our experienced leadership team delivers a fun, varied and adventurous programme, helping young people learn skills for life while making great memories along the way. From weekly meetings to camps and action-packed day activities, there’s always something happening at 1st Parkstone.
